I did not come to the bakery for its sweets and it looks like I should be glad that i didn't. I was here for lunch after working in the neighborhood. There were a ton of delicious looking options and I opted for one of that I would consider making myself if I had all the ingredients. I had a roast beef with bacon, avocado and wait for it... GARLIC MAYO. If Jesus came back he would want all of that goodness.

I'm in love with their ruggelah and croissants. Fantastic donut balls too. Lunch sandwiches are super delicious and a great deal too. I come here whenever I'm in the area for a quick treat.

The freshest yummy salads and sandwiches here with very quick and friendly service. Reasonably priced too--- I go out of my way to get lunch here. Always a great experience!

Give credit where credits due. Needed a quick bite to eat and decided to give this place another try. The wrap I got was pretty good and the salad my friend got was decent too. I think after this experience is give it another try.

It's eh. The sweets are ok--just a little dry. The sandwiches are the same way. A little lackluster. Not bad, but I come here to avoid getting pizza for lunch everyday. It's definitely not my first option.

This bakery needs a serious update. Staff is EXTREMELY SLOW. Even on the deli side. Sugar cookies are always stale. I only come here for the coffee (when I have enough time to wait on line). The sweets just do not appeal to me as they have been the same old looking desserts for 10 years! If they had some decent flavor then ok but they are so bland!! The owner should consider some new innovations.

I wouldn't even give this place a star! The panini I had for lunch today was awful and totally tasteless (YUCK) it took a while to make it too. The cookies I got were the worst bakery cookies I have ever tasted.Don't go here for sweets or paninis. :-( It's sad bc its in such a good spot for great potential. The inside needs a face lift also its very "old" It has this stuck in the 50's feel to it and the shelves looked empty at 11am!

How many ways can a bakery turn off their neighborhood? The cookies are almost always stale (I've given up on give them any more 'chances'). The staff couldn't care less about helping you and Lord forbid if you show up 15 minutes before closing time....the nasty looks and cold attitude would make you want to walk out backward. On one occasion I waited while one staff member finished with her cell phone conversation before she would help me. The 2 cakes I bought were tasteless and ended up as bird food. Forget going here if you want to buy anything with a credit card...hard cash only. Go to the bakery on 5th avenue: delicious cakes, cookies and all without an attitude....hmmm imagine that. Forget this place.

I love this place and the fact that you can get sweets/desserts or just get a sandwich (With Boars Head meats--of course). The staff is great, friendly and always attentive. I've come in a few times for lunch and breakfast (brunch) and it was positive every time. It's all cash however, they have an ATM so so you don't have to run to CVS--which charges a lot more. Food preparation can be a little slow...but the food is great so it is worth it. The place gets packed for lunch so get there before 1130. They not have a yogurt ice cream machine. Free wifi is also nice so you can sit and relax.

Purchased a red velvet cake on 2/13 for my mother-in-law's birthday and was excited at the prospect of a delicious red velvet cake for dessert. Unfortunately it was SO bad that and nobody ate it. Everyone labeled it SAND CAKE because it was so dry. I should've gotten the cake at Costco that I saw earlier in the day for 1/2 the price! I bet it would've been better! First impressions are important and I will definitely not go back to this place for baked goods. I guess I should've checked Yelp first because others seem to have had similar thoughts during recent visits.

totally mediocre food made by people who couldn't make themselves a sandwich and definitely couldn't care less about the quality of your food, drinks, or experience. quality of ingredients is terrible - a lot of stuff has gone bad. owner is totally clueless and hires complete morons - probably still in high school. desserts are hard and probably left out for several days - not fresh at all. even the simplest things are done terrible. why is this place still open and how clueless is the owner that she doesnt even know this?
